Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways Coal, on Saturday said the NDA government was committed to doubling farm income and that it has a
holistic plan to ensure that domestic farmers have a better future.
Addressing the ET Global Business Summit in New Delhi, Goyal said the
NDA government's report card is now before the people of India, as it goes for what he called another exam, the forthcoming general
elections.
Pitching for his party, he said the BJP always believes in good governance and integrity and Indian voters should give another
regime to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Goyal said his party is targeting 74 of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and hopes that the ruling party
would get re-elected in the forthcoming elections with higher number of seats than that in 2014.
A change in the mindset of the 130-crore
people is the biggest achievement of this government, he said
The outcome, he said, is a better quality of life.
On the usage of clean energy, he said clean environment can help one think differently
