NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading lower in Tuesday's morning session.
Shares of Tech Mahindra (down 2.33 per cent), Wipro (down 1.80 per
cent), MindTree (down 1.36 per cent)and Infosys (down 0.88 per cent) were the worst performers in the index.
HCL Technologies (down 0.62 per
cent), Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.38 per cent)and NIIT Technologies (down 0.16 per cent) too were trading lower
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.95 per cent down at 15,697.15 around 10:18 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 2.10 points at 10,861.40 while the BSE Sensex was down 20.73 points at 36,043.08
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red
Shares of SAIL, Tata Motors, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, BEL, JSW Steel, LT Fin Holding and Indian Oil Corp were among the
most traded shares on the NSE.
