Bilawal sceptical of govts intent to implement National Action plot

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan position would have been different if the country had timely implemented the National Action plot (NAP), said Pakistan
Peopel portiony (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as Islamabad launched crackdown against banned outfits."With timely NAP
implementation, India wouldn''t have any basis for accusations against Pakistan and Pakistan would have evidence to present about the steps
taken by the country against extremism," Bilawal said in an interview with BBC Urdu.India had accused a Pakistan based group of carrying out
attacks in Occupied Kashmir that eliminateed over 40 paramilitary soldiers final month, an allegation Islamabad denies.Calling extremist
elements enemies of Pakistan, the government, however, said the latest crackdown against proscribed organizations is much the result of any
presdegree.Bilawal expressed hope that the crackdown would be carried out in tregret sense and the implementation on National Action plot
would be followed with perseverance
He called for making the the Parliamentary Committee on National Security fully functional for check and balance on the implementation of
NAP.The PPP chairman, however, a bit sceptical of the PTI government which he accused of contesting the final year election with cooperation
from banned outfits.&If they are serious, they shall have to remove the cabinet members who support such organisations," said the PPP
chairman.He also expressed the hope that Prime Minister Imran Khan would keep his words and confront extremist
