Share market update: Auto shares in the red; MSI down over 3%

NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the red in Monday's morning session. Shares of Maruti Suzuki India (down 3.61 per cent) , Motherson
Sumi Systems (down 1.88 per cent) , Ashok Leyland (down 1.70 per cent) and Apollo Tyres (down 1.69 per cent) were trading with
losses. Bharat Forge (down 1.36 per cent) , Hero MotoCorp (down 1.02 per cent) , Eicher Motors (down 0.89 per cent) and Bajaj Auto (down
0.42 per cent) too were trading lower
The Nifty Auto index was trading 1.18 per cent down at 8644.70 around 10:10 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 75.25 points at 11,502.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 251.65 points at 38,275.97. Among the 50 stocks in
the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red
Shares of Indian Oil Corp, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Bank of Baroda, BEL, ICICI Bank, SBI, SAIL, RIL, NTPC, Vodafone Idea, Axis
Bank, Lupin, HPCL and BPCL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
