INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NEW DELHI: Shares of PSU banks were trading on a mixed note in Monday's morning session.
Shares of JK Bank (up 2.93 per cent), Bank of
Baroda (up 1.10 per cent), Bank of India (up 0.43 per cent) and Syndicate Bank (up 0.13 per cent) were the top performers in the
index.
Punjab National Bank (down 0.70 per cent), Oriental Bank of Commerce (down 0.70 per cent), Central Bank of India (down 0.59 per
cent)and Canara Bank (down 0.30 per cent) were trading lower.
The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.08 per cent up at 3101.45 around 10:18
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 71.80 points at 11,498.65 while the BSE Sensex was up 236.83 points at 38,261.15
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red
Shares of Indian Oil Corp, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, BEL, SAIL, SBI, ICICI Bank, NTPC, RIL and Vodafone Idea
were among the most traded shares on the NSE
