Share market update: Auto shares in the red; Bajaj Auto down 1%

NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the red in Wednesday's morning session. Shares of Bajaj Auto (down 1.25 per cent) , Eicher Motors
(down 1.07 per cent), Bharat Forge (down 0.94 per cent) and Motherson Sumi Systems (down 0.90 per cent) were the top losers in the
index. Maruti Suzuki India (down 0.66 per cent) , TVS Motor Company (down 0.55 per cent) , Ashok Leyland (down 0.49 per cent) and Tata
Motors (down 0.49 per cent) too were trading with losses
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.49 per cent down at 8524.80 around 10:58 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.85 points at 11,544.25 while the BSE Sensex was up 84.88 points at 38,448.35. Among the 50 stocks in
the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red
Shares of BHEL, Indian Oil Corp, Bank of Baroda, ONGC, Infosys, NTPC, ITC, BEL, Ashok Leyland, YES Bank, SAIL, SBI, DLF and NMDC were among
the most traded shares on the NSE.
