Share market update: BSE Power index down; Suzlon Energy slips 3%

NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Power index was down with most of its components trading lower in Thursday's afternoon session. Shares of Suzlon
Energy (down 3.37 per cent), KEC International (down 2.76 per cent), Adani Power (down 2.23 per cent) and Reliance Infrastructure (down 2.15
per cent) were trading with losses
CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down 1.74 per cent), Siemens (down 1.50 per cent), Tata Power Company (down 1.19 per cent) and NHPC
(down 0.81 per cent) too were trading lower
The SP BSE Power index was trading 0.17 per cent down at 2029.91 around 11:58 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 34.80 points at 11,609.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 117.78 points at 38,759.34
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red
Shares of Wipro, Reliance Communications, Vodafone Idea, Dish TV India, Indian Energy Exchange, Suzlon Energy, Laksmi Vilas Bank, Adani
Power, Reliance Power, YES Bank, PNB, JP Associates, IDBI Bank, Tata Motors, Bombay Dyeing, SAIL and NALCO were among the most traded shares
on the NSE.
