NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading lower in Thursday's afternoon session.
Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmissions (down
2.34 per cent) , Carborundum Universal (down 2.14 per cent) , Sadbhav Engineering (down 1.85 per cent) and GE TD India (down 1.77 per cent)
were trading with losses.
Lakshmi Machine Works (down 1.76 per cent) , AIA Engineering (down 1.42 per cent) , HEG (down 1.22 per cent) and
Siemens (down 1.15 per cent) too were trading in the red
The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.04 per cent down at 18,431.19 around 12:19 pm
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 15.90 points at 11,628.05 while the BSE Sensex was down 61.99 points at 38,815.13
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red
Shares of Wipro, Reliance Communications, Vodafone Idea, Dish TV India, Suzlon Energy, Indian Energy Exchange, Lak Vilas Bank, Adani Power,
Reliance Power, YES Bank, PNB, Indiabulls Housing Finance, JP Associates, IDBI Bank, SAIL, Tata Motors, Bombay Dyeing, DHFL, NALCO and Union
Bank India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
