NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 29.80 points down at 38,909.42 on account of selling in frontline bluechip
counters.
Shares of Arihant Institute (up 18.97 per cent), Gujarat Hy-Spin (up 17.39 per cent), Jhandewalas Foods (up 17.26 per cent), Akme
Star Housing Finance (up 14.94 per cent), Ajanta Soya (up 12.53 per cent), Eco Recycling (up 9.90 per cent), Gujarat Poly Electronics (up
9.86 per cent), Dhruv Consultancy Services (up 9.50 per cent), New Light Apparels (up 9.25 per cent) and Velan Hotels (up 9.07 per cent)
were among the top performers.
Praj Industries (up 6.78 per cent) and Aditya Birla Money (up 6.44 per cent) too were trading 6-7 per cent
higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 1.95 points down at 11,670
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 29 shares were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
