traded: 0.10 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.10 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 0.10 crore), Reliance Capital
(number of shares traded: 0.07 crore), South Indian Bank (number of shares traded: 0.06 crore), Raj Rayon (number of shares traded: 0.06
crore) and JP Associates (number of shares traded: 0.06 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
Jet Airways (Rs 26.59
crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.
It was followed by PC Jeweller (Rs 24.08 crore) , YES Bank (Rs 23.10
crore), HDFC Bank (Rs 21.94 crore), RIL (Rs 21.14 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 18.45 crore), IndusInd Bank (Rs 17.72 crore), Indiabulls Housing
Finance (Rs 16.93 crore), TCS (Rs 14.40 crore) and HDFC (Rs 13.99 crore).
The NSE Nifty index was trading 6.50 points up at 11,600.95 while
the BSE Sensex was up 39.81 points at 38,684.99 around 09:17 am
In the Nifty index, Bharti Airtel (up 18.67 per cent), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (up 1.75 per cent), Bharti Infratel (up 0.70 per
cent), UltraTech Cement (up 0.66 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers
While GAIL (India) (down 2.57 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (down 1.68 per cent), NTPC (down 1.47 per cent), YES Bank (down 1.15
per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation (down 1.14 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
