NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading on a mixed note in Friday's morning session.
Shares of Infibeam Avenues (up 1.41 per cent), NIIT
Technologies (up 0.72 per cent), Tata Elxsi (up 0.67 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.23 per cent) were trading with gains.
HCL
Technologies (down 4.32 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.77 per cent), Infosys (down 0.22 per cent) and Tech Mahindra
(down 0.19 per cent) were trading in the red.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.38 per cent down at 16,071.75 around 10:25 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 4.30 points at 11,306.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 38.02 points at 37,596.93
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 28 were in the red
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, PC Jeweller, Voltas, Tata Motors, ZEEL, Dish TV India, Ashok Leyland, DHFL and Federal Bank were among
the most traded shares on the NSE.
