INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NEW DELHI: Shares of Kwality (down 9.91 per cent), PC Jeweller (down 9.60 per cent) and Ganesh Housing (down 8.50 per cent) plunged up to 10
per cent in the early trade on Monday as market erased opening gains due to selling across sectors.
Shankara Building Products (down 7.37
per cent), Kellton Tech Solutions (down 6.84 per cent), Ajmera Realty Infra India (down 6.50 per cent), Praj Industries (down 6.44 per
cent), Intrasoft Technologies (down 6.17 per cent) and Cyient (down 6.06 per cent) tanked over 6 per cent.
Market erased all gains as
selling emerged in almost all sectors, led by bank, FMCG, IT and auto.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 30 points down at 10,666, while the
BSE Sensex was down 68 points at 35,159 around 10 am.
In the Nifty index, 17 stocks were in the green, while 33 were in the red.
In the
Reddy's Laboratories, Mahindra Mahindra and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers, while HDFC Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance and
Adani Ports SEZ were among the top losers in the Nifty pack.
