NEW DELHI: Reliance Power with over 1.04 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Wednesday.
Shares of
YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.63 crore), DHFL (number of shares traded: 0.53 crore), RCom (number of shares traded: 0.41 crore),
Reliance Capital (number of shares traded: 0.34 crore), PC Jeweller (number of shares traded: 0.31 crore), Reliance Infra (number of shares
traded: 0.31 crore), Indiabulls Housing Finance (number of shares traded: 0.23 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 0.22 crore)
and SAIL (number of shares traded: 0.20 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 150.66
crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.
It was followed by YES Bank (Rs 86.06 crore), RIL (Rs 61.82 crore), TCS
(Rs 51.50 crore), DHFL (Rs 50.97 crore), IndusInd Bank (Rs 40.69 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 40.09 crore), Infosys (Rs 38.65 crore), Tata Steel
(Rs 34.40 crore) and Just Dial (Rs 33.36 crore).
The NSE Nifty index was trading 42.80 points down at 11,922.80 while the BSE Sensex was
down 149.16 points at 39,801.30 around 09:22 am
In the Nifty index, Tata Steel (up 0.77 per cent), Asian Paints (up 0.69 per cent), JSW Steel (up 0.57 per cent), Vedanta (up 0.53 per
cent) and Tata Motors (up 0.53 per cent) were among the top gainers
While Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 3.49 per cent), YES Bank (down 2.90 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 1.11 per cent), HCL
Technologies (down 1.10 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp (down 1.08 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
