NEW DELHI: Most of the cement stocks were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's morning session.
Shares of Burnpur Cement (up 4.55 per
cent), Star Cement (up 3.79 per cent), Andhra Cements (up 3.64 per cent), Mangalam Cement (up 1.71 per cent) and JK Cements (up 1.12 per
cent) were among the top gainers
While Barak Valley Cements (down 4.90 per cent), Century Textiles - Industries (down 3.62 per cent), Orient Cement Ltd (down 1.59 per
cent), JK Lakshmi Cement (down 1.46 per cent) and Prism Johnson (down 1.36 per cent) were among the top losers
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 42.45 points up at 11,383.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 163.25 points at 38,377.72 at around
Indian Oil Corporation (up 1.90 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 1.43 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 1.36 per cent), NTPC (up 1.32
per cent) and Asian Paints (up 1.28 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack
On the other hand, Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 6.62 per cent), JSW Steel (down 2.51 per cent), Tata Motors (down 2.15 per cent),
Infosys (down 1.88 per cent) and Vedanta (down 1.42 per cent) were trading in the red.
