NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were in the green in Friday's morning trade.
Shares of Rajshree Sugars - Chemicals (up 3.38 per cent), Dalmia
Bharat Sugar - Industries (up 1.58 per cent), Balrampur Chini Mills (up 0.89 per cent), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries (up 0.80 per cent), Bajaj
Hindustan (up 0.66 per cent) and Avadh Sugar (up 0.62 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Piccadily Agro Industries (down 2.07 per
cent) and Ugar Sugar Works (down 1.53 per cent) were the top losers
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 33.45 points up at 11,616.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 135.10 points at 39,155.49 at around
Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 2.51 per cent), Infosys (up 2.31 per cent), State Bank of India (up 1.85 per cent), ITC (up 1.67 per cent)
and ICICI Bank (up 1.62 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack
On the other hand, Bharti Infratel (down 6.61 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 2.52 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 2.43 per
cent), HCL Technologies (down 1.51 per cent), Bharti Airtel (down 1.42 per cent) were trading in the red.
