NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the red in Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Apollo Tyres (down 0.60 per cent) , Bharat Forge
(down 0.48 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki India (down 0.31 per cent) and Tata Motors (down 0.25 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

(down 0.21 per cent) , Hero MotoCorp (down 0.15 per cent) , Ashok Leyland (down 0.13 per cent) and Motherson Sumi Systems (down 0.11 per
cent) too were trading lower
The Nifty Auto index was trading flat at 8153.65 around 09:46 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 7.95 points at 11,921.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 23.92 points at 40,369
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red
Shares of YES Bank, BHEL, Ashok Leyland, Ibull HousingFin, DLF, RBL Bank , Bank of Baroda, SAIL and JSPL were among the most traded shares
