The Nifty Private Bank index was trading 0.6 per cent up at 17,494.5 around 09:45 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.90 points at 12,113.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 176.79 points at 41,066.02
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red
