Shares of Tata Global Beverages (up 3.59 per cent), United
Breweries (up 1.48 per cent), Godrej Industries (up 1.46 per cent), Godrej Consumer Products (up 1.35 per cent) and Marico (up 1.13 per
cent) were among the top gainers
While Colgate Palmolive (India) (down 0.16 per cent) and Britannia Industries (down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers in the index
The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.68 per cent up at 30327.8 around 10:27 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 59.35 points at 12,275.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 187.3 points at 41,639.65
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red
