(number of shares traded: 0.44 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 0.39 crore), Reliance Capital (number of shares traded: 0.31
crore), ONGC (number of shares traded: 0.26 crore), ICICI Bank (number of shares traded: 0.21 crore), RIL (number of shares traded: 0.19
crore), Tata Motors (number of shares traded: 0.18 crore) and SBI (number of shares traded: 0.18 crore) also featured among the most traded
stocks on the NSE
RIL (Rs 260.04 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms. It was followed by HDFC Bank (Rs 92.47 crore), Aurobindo
Pharma (Rs 78.59 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 72.49 crore), Zee Ent
(Rs 70.64 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 62.62 crore), HDFC (Rs 46.04 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs 39.38 crore), Titan Company (Rs 38.96 crore) and
Maruti Suzuki (Rs 35.61 crore) The NSE Nifty index was trading 30.6 points up at 9217.9 , while BSE Sensex was up 89.7 points at 31469.25

While Titan Company (down 2.93 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.36 per cent), Mahindra - Mahindra (down 1.25 per cent),
NTPC (down 1.18 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India (down 1.02 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
