30.Judge SK Yadav has directed all accused to remain present in the court on the day of judgment.Among the 32 accused in the decades-old
case are former deputy prime minister LK Advani, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh, BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi and Vinay
Katiyar.CBI counsel Lalit Singh told PTI that arguments of the defence and prosecution concluded on September 1 and thereafter the special
judge started writing the judgment
The CBI has produced 351 witnesses and about 600 documentary evidence before the court

At the time, Advani and Joshi were at the forefront of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement which asserted that the mosque was constructed in the
place of an ancient Ram temple.An FIR was registered in this regard against kar sevaks who demolished the structure
Apart from Advani-Joshi, cases were also registered against Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders Ashok Singhal, Sadhvi Rithambara and Vishnu
Hari Dalmiya among others.Former Deputy PM Lal Krishna Advani deposed before the special CBI court via video conference on July 24, claiming
that he has been falsely implicated
Similarly, Kalyan Singh's statement was recorded on July 13, Uma Bharti's on July 2 while Murli Manohar Joshi deposed before the court
