At 43.9 lakh, India’s coronavirus recoveries highest in the world

India has overtaken the United States of America to record the highest coronavirus recoveries in the world
As per the latest figures by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, India has so far recorded 43,96,399 Covid-19 recoveries, which is the
highest in the world.India's single-day recovery also outstripped the number of new infections as over 93,000 people recuperated from the
novel coronavirus, while a single-day spike of 86,961 coronavirus cases was recorded, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.The total
caseload in India neared the 55-lakh mark on Monday.Of the total Covid-19 tally of 54.87 lakh, 43,96,399 have recovered, giving India a
recovery rate of 80.12 per cent.The Union Ministry took to Twitter on Monday to say that India now occupies the top position in the world in
terms of total recoveries

more than the national average:As per Covid-19 pandemic figures on Worldometer, 22,835,563 patients have recovered globally out of over
31.24 million cases, which means that India constitutes over 19 per cent of the total recovered cases.India is followed by the United States
(42.5 lakh recoveries), Brazil (38.5 lakh) and Russia (9 lakh)
