NEW DELHI: Mirroring the positive mood of the market, shares of Adani Power (up 7.40 per cent), Shriram EPC (up 5.86 per cent), Ashok
Leyland (up 5.36 per cent), Varroc Engineering (up 5.30 per cent), MMTC (up 5.24 per cent) and Morepen Labs (up 5.06 per cent) jumped over 5
per cent on NSE during Friday's trade.
Equity markets were trading in the positive territory on fresh buying in energy, auto, capital
goods, metal and oil gas, while US tariffs on Chinese imports took effect.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 59 points up at 10,809, while the BSE Sensex was up 192 points at 35,766 around 11:20 am.
In the Nifty
index, 33 stocks were trading with gains, while 17 were incurring losses.
Among the sectors, Nifty Realty with a gain of 1.85 per cent, was
trading as the top gainer, backed by gains in Sobha, DLF and Indiabulls Real Estate.
Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, HPCL, Bajaj Auto and
Hindalco Industries were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
On the contrary, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Tech Mahindra, Wipro,
NTPC and Bharti Infratel were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
