Hyderabad: After a quick lull, the state government has stepped up investigation into the alleged encroachment of designated and endowment
lands by ousted health minister Etala Rajendar.Officials from Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and Alertness and Enforcement (V-E) went to
Masaipet on Monday and analyzed land records from the time as old as from 1980 at the MRO office to evaluate the level of assigned land
encroachments by Jamuna Hatcheries owned by member of the family of Rajender
Concurrently, officials from the income department performed a questions into the problem on Monday
Masaipet mandal revenue officer (MRO) Malathi and Veldurthi MRO Suresh went to the appointed lands and recorded the declarations of town
secretaries on how the lands were moved to Jamuna Hatcheries.Speaking to the media later on, both the MROs said that Jamuna Hatcheries
obtained NOC (no objection certificate) for regularisation of assigned lands by applying pressure on town secretaries in 2018 and 2019
They stated that Jamuna Hatcheries was establishing a poultry feed plant versus the standards in Hakimpet even after the town secretaries
provided notices two times to stop the works
They said the village secretaries stopped the works after it was discovered that the firm was laying roads over a degree of 5.35 acres
The MROs notified that they had actually issued notices to 75 farmers owning 90 acres and a thorough land survey would be conducted from May

sources said the federal government asked the committee to resume the probe and send a report to the federal government in two weeks
These probe reports will be submitted to the High Court which is anticipated to hear these cases once again in July
