Share market update: Market in the green, however these stocks plunge over 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sintex Plastics Technology (down 8.97 per cent), DB Corp (down 8.52 per cent), Ankit Metal Power (down 6.25 per cent)
and MEP Infrastructure Developers (down 5.37 per cent) plunged over 5 per cent on NSE in Tuesday's trade. Shares of V-Mart Retail (down 5
per cent), Vakrangee (down 4.99 per cent), Bhansali Engineering Polymers (down 4.99 per cent), MIRC Electronic (down 4.88 per cent) and
Matrimony.com (down 4.81 per cent) declined up to 5 per cent. Equity markets were in the positive territory on fresh buying by investors
after a sharp drop on global crude oil prices and a strengthening rupee. Optimism around better earnings and mixed Asian cues too influenced
the sentiment here. Select bank, auto, pharma, metal and energy stocks were catching buyers' attention. However, losses in Hindustan
Unilever, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, IndusInd Bank and Infosys were restricting the gains
The NSE Nifty index was trading 13 points up at 10,950, while the BSE Sensex was up 33 points at 36,357 around 10:25 am. In the Nifty
index, 30 stocks were in the green, while 20 were in the red
HPCL, Indian Oil Corporation, GAIL (India), ICICI Bank and Adani Ports SEZ were leading among Nifty gainers.
