A 30-year-old man from Afghanistan died in the UK on Sunday morning after falling from a 16th floor window while trying to escape a fire in
the apartment where he was living.The deceased was named by Bristol authorities on Wednesday
He was Abdul Jabar Oryakhel, who had only been in the UK in February.Oryakhel fled the country after the collapse of the former
government.According to the Bristol Post, he had been seeking asylum status and had been staying with his cousin in a flat on the 16th floor
of Twinnell House in Easton, Bristol, when tragedy struck at around 2am on Sunday morning.Investigations have found that the fire started
when an electric bike charger caught fire, and three other people in the flat at the time managed to escape the fire & two by clambering out
of a window and clinging on to the outside of the building before they were pulled in by firefighters.The post Afghan refugee dies after
