Helicopters clash over Australian beach, 4 travelers dead

Two helicopters clashed in an Australian traveler hotspot Monday afternoon, killing four guests and seriously injuring 3 others in a crash
that drew emergency aid from beachgoers enjoying the water during the southern summer.One helicopter appeared to have been removing and the
other landing when they collided near the Sea World theme park in Main Beach, a northern beach on the Gold Coast, Gary Worrell, Queensland
state police acting inspector, said at a news conference.One helicopter landed securely on a sandbank, but debris from the other was spread
out across an area police described as challenging to access.The dead and 3 most seriously hurt people were all guests in the crashed

Members of the public and cops tried to remove individuals and they started first aid and attempted to get those individuals to safety from
an airframe that was upside down, Worrell stated
(People on) Jet Skis, family boaters, normal members of the general public rushed to help these individuals
Passengers in the other helicopter, which lost its windshield in the crash, are also getting medical assistance.Footage of the crash
revealed a helicopter shortly after launch being clipped by another helicopter flying over the water.Sea World Helicopters, a different
business from the theme park, revealed its acknowledgements and said it was working together with the authorities dealing with the crash

helicopters associated with the crash, saying in the statement it would not comment even more since of the investigation.A witness named
John told Melbourne radio station 3AW that clients at Sea World heard the crash.He said staff at the amusement park moved quickly to close
off locations closest to the crash

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the mishap was an unthinkable disaster
My inmost sympathies are with each of the households and everybody affected by this horrible mishap, she said.Australian Transport Safety
Bureau chief commissioner Angus Mitchell said an investigation into the cause of the crash was underway.Queensland Ambulance Service said
earlier that 13 individuals were being examined for injuries.The Gold Coast region is at its busiest in January, the peak time for holidays
