Today marks the 124th birthday commemoration of the founder of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and former Prime Minister, late S.W.R.D
Bandaranaike.

.
This year too, 2 different events were held this morning, in commemoration of late PM Bandaranaike

.
The SLFP had organized a celebratory celebration today at the partys head workplace, under the patronage of the Chairman of SLFP, previous
President Maithripala Sirisena.

.
Speaking at the event, the former president stated that the issue at present is that the brand-new generation is unaware of what the
Bandaranaike viewpoint is, discussing that the people of the Aragalaya demonstration motion, purposefully or unconsciously, required that
the country be governed according to Bandaranaikes viewpoint.

.
I was appointed as the President on January 08, the day Mr
Bandaranaike was born

.
The internal crises of my federal government emerged when Bandaranaike approach was carried out
Apart from that, there is no personal conflict in between the current president and me

.
The issue today is that the brand-new generation does not understand what the Bandaranaike approach is

.
The people in the Aragalaya demonstration motion, intentionally or unknowingly, required that the country must be governed according to
Bandaranaikes viewpoint

.
On the other hand, another event in commemoration of the 124th birthday of the late prime minister, was held near the S.W.R.D
Bandaranaike statue situated near the Galle Face Green.

.
The event was accepted the participation of previous president Chandrika Bandaranaike and Sunethra Bandaranaike, the two daughters of Mr
Bandaranaike.

. Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera and Duminda Dissanayake, and likewise a group of individuals
including the Parliamentarians Jagath Pushpakumara, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Prof
