TEHRAN- The problems and issues faced by farmers and manufacturers of agricultural products in Alborz province were addressed in a meeting
participated in by some provincial officials.The presence of environmental restrictions, lack of water and land, lack of liquidity, boost in
production expenses, flight of capital and absorption in the markets of gold and foreign currency, and difficult condition of giving bank
facilities to production units were some problems raised and investigated in the conference which was held last week.As reported, the
conference was arranged by the Investment Making Services Center of the province and got involved by the provinces heads of Finance and
Economic Affairs Department and Agriculture Department, and the chairman of the provinces Chamber of Cooperatives.Addressing the conference,
Reza Jafari, the head of the provinces Finance and Economic Affairs Department, said, Alborz province has lots of capabilities for
investment, which regrettably have been overlooked
