Pilot: Why Cong 'delay' in taking action against Gehlot loyalists

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NEW DELHI: Congress member Sachin Pilot on Wednesday questioned the party leadership's "inordinate delay" in initiating action against the
three Rajasthan leaders who were showcaused for their role in the boycott of the later aborted legislature party meeting called on September
25, 2022.Pilot also said that the party needs to quickly take a decision on the Rajasthan Congress leadership issue, if the trend of the
state booting out incumbent governments has to be broken
Talking to PTI, he said the three members, including two ministers in the Ashok Gehlot cabinet, were showcaused by the disciplinary
committee headed by Congress leader AK Antony, and they have filed their replies
He said why no action has been taken despite the delay can be best answered by the panel and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge
He also said since it was announced that resignations of 81 party MLAs tendered on the day of the aborted meet have been rejected because
"they were not given under free will", the party needs to probe further if coercion or allurements were involved.
