TEHRAN- The Islamic Revolution Court of Shiraz on Monday held the 3rd trial session for perpetrators of the Shah Cheragh terrorist
attack.The trial meeting was held at the existence of the defendants and their lawyers, parents of the victims and a group of witnesses of
the dreadful incident.On October 26, 2022, a gunman got in the Shah Cheragh shrine and slaughtered at visitors, leaving 13 individuals dead,
consisting of children, and 30 more hurt
The gunman and his accomplices come from the neighboring countries.Fars provinces head of justice department specified that 5 individuals
have been arraigned in the terrorist attack, highlighting that those responsible for such a devilish act are connected to the Daesh
terrorist group.He stated they had formed a group when they were secured in Bagram prison in Afghanistan.During the first trial session, the
mastermind of the incident and the first accused, Mohammad Ramez Rashidi, was summoned to detail about how he alongside with the other
accomplices transferred to the city to launch the terrorist attack
The prosecutors representative listed the charges before the offenders as corruption, sedition, subscription in Daesh, along with event and
collusion with the intention of acting against the nations security.In action to the courts concerns, Rashidi appeared on the stand to point
out that he got military training in Jowzjan Province, Afghanistan
Elaborating on the information of the incident, he said he pertained to Iran two times, the very first time, which was illegal, for personal
functions but the 2nd time, he was sent to the nation on the order of Daesh to run terrorist acts
He finally acknowledged that he received the order of implementing the terroristic plot via Telegram
During the session, Mohammad Rahmani, called Abu Khaled, who is the 2nd offender, appeared on the stand and introduced himself.Rahmani
stated he has remained in Iran for 9 months, working as a worker
Admitting that he entered Iran illegally and went straight to Tehran, he said, Mohammad Ramez and me were familiarized for the first time
in 2017 when we were apprehended by the Afghanistan Security Department on charges of belonging to Daesh group
