be a successful volleyball player. Usha's father, Gajendra Bhandari is the biggest support of all
That's why Usha says, "My family is everything for me." At the age of 18, Bhandari is an emerging volleyball player and she has the
potential to be one of the successful players
She is beautiful with a smiling face, the best qualities of bringing glamour into Nepali women's volleyball.And she is also the youngest one
among the current lot of players and her family has just one wish while growing up with modesty -- play for the country and make her
name.Bhandari, who hails from Tanahun, plays for Nepal Police Club and has already sealed her spot in the team as a key member of the squad
She plays the role of an open spiker.Her height is a little more than five feet and seven inches
Her jump is awesome and she is a kind of all-rounder
Because of her versatile roles in NPC's success last year, the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum has nominated Bhandari and four others in the
People's Choice category of the Pulsar Sports Award.Other players in the race include footballer Anjan Bista, cricketer Aasif Sheikh, tennis
player Abhilasha Bista and swimmer Duana Lama
Bhandari did not believe her name in the nominations."I thought it was a dream, I still think it is." And she had dared to dream it."I
wanted to earn this nomination ever since I came to know about the Pulsar Sports Award and its craze in Nepali sports," she said
