been selected among a group of 1000 people to be gifted with the latest phone worth Rs1
4 lakhs.Oshiwara police registered the case against an unknown person on June 16 after the actress, KA Khan, filed a complaint that a person
who identified himself as a customs officer from the airport called her and made her create the ID number of the phone before it is
delivered to her.In the complaint, Khan said: "I received a message on my mobile number as I clicked on the link
Later, I received a call and the person sent a photo of the phone and told me to share the courier code that the caller provided to me
First, I was asked to transfer Rs 4,000 towards tax and later asked to transfer Rs12,000 to create an ID for the mobile before it is
delivered
I got suspicious when the person who identified as a customs officer repeatedly demanded money
65 lakh after she was lured of winning the high-end mobile and to be one among 1000 lucky ones to earn the gift
Apart from mobile, the fraudster told me that I have earned a gold necklace, gold ring, bangles, and cash as a gift and asked me to pay tax
