murder Maresh, a fellow villager in his early 30s on Saturday evening
Vijay was apparently infuriated by the growing closeness between his wife and Maresh. The attack which was videographed by Vijay's cousin
occurred near Siddepalli Cross in Chintamani taluk on June 19

Vijay and his family hail from Andhra Pradesh and came to Chintamani 30 years ago
The family lived in Mandyampet, but moved from village to village and sold everything from edible oil and clothes to vegetables and other

cousin John Babu, a BCom student
Vijay asked Babu to engage Maresh for a rental trip from Siddepalli Cross to a nearby farm
When Maresh arrived with his vehicle, Vijay and Babu took him on their bike on the pretext of showing him the tomatoes which had to be
ferried

small knife, slit his throat and sucked blood from his neck
He also got Babu to shoot a video of it
The accused left the scene and Maresh managed to get timely medical help and survived

station, said the hunt is on for Babu
Strange behaviour: DoctorPsychiatrist Dr Mohan Reddy from Jalappa Medical College, Kolar, said such behaviour among humans is very rare and
he had never heard of such incidents
