[India] - Pak female discovers love in India by means of PUBG, slips in with 4 kids

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NOIDA: Love knows no reason
Or, as Seema Haider has been saying, love is the reason, the only one
This May, the 27-year-old Pakistani woman set out from Karachi, her four children in tow
They took a flight to Dubai and a connecting one to Kathmandu
From the Nepal capital, they went to Pokhara and took a bus in which they managed to cross the Indian border illegally, despite checks,
because a woman travelling with four kids aroused no suspicion
The next stop was Delhi, and a short ride away was her destination - the modest house of Sachin, a 22-year-old grocery store worker at
Rabupura in Greater Noida. The two of them had met virtually during the pandemic in 2020 while playing PUBG
It was love at first click
They were set to marry but a lawyer informed cops about Haider
The couple were caught Sunday on their way to Ballabhgarh in Haryana
Legal inquiry about marriage put cops on Pakistani woman's trailSeema Haider, who was detained by police on Sunday, entered India in the
third week of May and had been staying with Sachin for over a month till they consulted a local lawyer on her residency and the legality of
a marriage here
The lawyer informed the cops."I was startled when I found that she and her children (three daughters and a son) were carrying Pakistani
passports
She was making inquiries about the process of getting married in India
She said she wanted to marry Sachin," the Bulandshahr- based lawyer, who requested not to be named, told TOI on Monday.Haider, according to
the lawyer and police, claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse in Pakistan
"She told me she was married to a Pakistani man who works in Saudi Arabia and he would beat her for every little thing
She said she hadn't met him in four years
She also said her brother is with the Pakistani army," the lawyer said.Haider visited the lawyer last Friday but got up and left as soon as
he asked her about her Indian visa
"One of my associates followed them
When I learned they were living in a house in Rabupura, I informed the police," the lawyer added
Additional CP (law - order) Sureshrao Arvind Kulkarni said Haider and Sachin were taken off a bus headed to Haryana's Ballabhgarh on Sunday
and brought to Noida for questioning
"During interrogation, she said she sold her parents' house at Khairpur in Sindh province for Rs 12 lakh so that she could travel to India
so that she could marry Sachin."Kulkarni said Haider and the children had travelled from Pakistan on Nepal visas and kept switching buses,
first in Nepal and then in India, till one dropped them off at the Yamuna Expressway, where Sachin waited for her
"While travelling to India from Nepal, she told the cops and other security personnel that she is Hindu and mentioned her first name, Seema
The cops at the border didn't pay any more attention as she had four children with her," he said.A police officer at Rabupura said Sachin
had rented a house separate from the one where his family lived and introduced Haider as his wife to the landlord
After the lawyer's tip-off on Friday, Sachin's phone location was traced to Mathura
Police were joined by the UP ATS (anti-terrorist squad) in the pursuit
Eventually, they caught up with them on Sunday
"Multiple agencies are involved in the probe and questioning the woman
We are also verifying her and her children's passports," said Kulkarni.Police have informed the Pakistani embassy
Central intelligence agencies are investigating
Kulkarni said Haider came to India between May 15 and 20 and sought out a lawyer only after Sachin told his parents about his desire to
marry her and they insisted that they take legal advice first
Haider made at least one previous trip to Nepal, this January, when Sachin met her there
" There, they decided they would live together in future," the additional CP said.
