Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi and 14 others in the "land-for-jobs scam" in a Delhi court on Monday.BJP immediately demanded Tejashwi's
resignation, with its senior functionary Sushil Modi reminding CM Nitish Kumar that he had campaigned for Lalu's resignation when the CBI
chargesheeted the RJD leader in the fodder scam
The demand was rejected by RJD, JD(U) and Congress who said the chargesheet had been prompted by BJP's fears about the efforts for

deputy to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.BJP demanded Tejashwi's resignation, with its senior functionary Sushil Modi reminding Nitish he had
campaigned for Lalu's resignation when the CBI chargesheeted the RJD leader in the fodder scam

By the same yardstick, he should sack Tejashwi now," Modi told TOI, adding it was JD(U) chief Lalan Singh who had submitted "evidence"
against Tejashwi to then PM Manmohan Singh demanding Lalu be sacked as railway minister.The demand was rejected by RJD, JD(U) and Congress
who said the chargesheet was prompted by BJP's fears on efforts for opposition unity.The fresh chargesheet is based on investigation into
the allegation that land parcels bought by a company, floated only for the purpose of facilitating the scam, for Rs 1.8 crore was sold to
the Lalu clan for a mere Rs 1 lakh.Investigations also showed, the chargesheet claimed, that the land parcels in question happened to be
next to the plots the Lalu clan already owned, and that their owners had been lured to transfer the plots in lieu of Group D jobs with the
railways.The accused, the CBI claimed, had allegedly collected applications and documents of such candidates through associates and then
sent those to West Central Railway for processing and providing jobs
A hard disk containing lists of candidates (who were engaged) was recovered during searches by the CBI which took place after registration
