According to Mingma Sherpa, Chairman at Seven Summit treks, at least 29 climbers from
SST successfully scaled Nanga Parbat, a killer mountain in Pakistan, this season
"Under the leadership of SST Director Chhang Dawa Sherpa, we have managed to make a successful summit by 29 world climbers," Mingma said,
adding that it was the highest number of summits by any outfitter in a single season.According to him, Norwegian climber Kristin Harila and
Tenjen (Lama) Sherpa scaled Nanga Parbat on June 26 marking their 10th successful ascent of an 8000-meter peak this year
"They will attempt to scale four other Karakoram peaks this season to complete all 14 in just three months," he said.
