During the event, Singh also shared some of his experiences and challenges encountered while writing the book.
Rajendra
Singh who graduated from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh is the first Textile Engineer to be registered with Nepal Engineering Council
He is a Member of Purbanchal University's Fashion Technology Subject Committee and a member of NCFT's Advisory Board
Furthermore, Singh is the Deputy Director of the Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC), Nepal.This book marks a significant milestone in
textile education in Nepal and holds the potential to shape the future of students and the textile industry in the country, according to the
statement issued by the NCFT

NCFT introduced Nepal's first-ever Bachelor's course in Fashion with the Bachelor of Fashion Design program of 3 years (6 Semesters) in 2002
in affiliation with Purbanchal University
In 2016, NCFT launched Nepal's only Bachelor's course in Fashion of 4 years (8 semesters) with the Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management
(BFDM) program in affiliation with Purbanchal University.
