Maha Kumbh to spread out in 25 sectors, turnout of 40cr most likely

The magnitude of Maha Kumbh 2025 could be understood by the fact that around 25 crore people had visited Kumbh 2019 whereas the authorities
are expecting a turnout of around 40 crores in Maha Kumbh 2025.One can gauge the magnitude of Maha Kumbh 2025 by the fact that for Maha
Kumbh 2013, the mela covered an area of 1600 hectare, which was increased to 3200 hectare in 2019
However, for 2025, authorities would increase the area by over one and a half times more, roughly around 5000 hectares
Talking to TOI, Maha Kumbh Mela Adhikari, Vijay Kiran Anand said, "Maha Kumbh will be divided into 25 sectors and there will be one police
station in each of these 25 sectors
However, there will be more than 100 police outposts"
In comparison to this, Kumbh 2019 was spread in 20 sectors
Likewise, the number of pontoon bridges too will also be more in 2025
In 2019, authorities had made 22 pontoon bridges across river Ganga and Yamuna whereas in 2025, the number of pontoon bridges will be 27,

Likewise, to meet any untoward incident of fire, each sector will have one fire station each
About the bathing ghats, the official informed that the devotees coming to Maha Kumbh will have a stretch of ten kilometres to bath during
