has said that the current ruling alliance was formed to safeguard the constitution not merely for contesting the elections.

Though Nepali Congress is the largest political party, the current government was formed to convert adversities into favourable situation,
Khadka said while addressing a conference of the party's Constituency-3 of NC here today.On the occasion, DPM Khadka, who is also the NC
Vice-president, said that the NC's candidates have won the presidential election and chief ministerial post in four provinces due to the
NC-Maoist Centre alliance. Khadka added that the achievements made after NC's participation in the government should be
reviewed and weaknesses should be mended, if any.Likewise, he said that the government has prioritised the issue of Federal Acts and would
be taken to the Federal Parliament in the ongoing House Session
