7 Summit Foundation organizes free eye camp in Solukhumbu

SOLUKHUMBU: The 7 Summit Foundation successfully organised a free eye camp in
Tapting, Solukhumbu.The four-day event, held in collaboration with Matrika Eye Centre, Wangchu Memorial Hospital, and Soludhudkunda
Municipality -10, aimed to provide essential eye care services to the local community, according to the foundation.

During the eye camp, more than 300 individuals were provided with comprehensive eye check-ups, ensuring that any potential
eye conditions were detected and addressed in a timely manner, said foundation chairman AC Sherpa."The foundation is proud to have been able
to reach out to such a large number of people and contribute to their overall eye health," he said. Additionally, as part
of foundation's commitment to improving the lives of individuals suffering from cataracts, doctors successfully conducted 46 cataract
operations during the camp."These surgeries have undoubtedly made a significant impact on the lives of those affected, restoring their
vision and enhancing their quality of life," Sherpa said.According to him, the foundation remains committed to its mission of serving the
underprivileged and ensuring access to essential healthcare.Through initiatives like these, the foundation strives to make a positive
difference in the lives of individuals communities, Sherpa shared.
