INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
NEW DELHI: Shares of Shriram EPC (up 15.47 per cent) surged over 15 per cent on NSE in Friday's session amid positive market sentiment.
As
per media reports, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Wednesday lifted the stay order against the company, accepting the
stand of Asset Care Reconstruction Enterprises (ACRE) that there was no default on part of the company.
The stay had come after the ACRE
had filed a petition under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process.
Biocon (up 9.72 per cent), Muthoot Capital (up 9.64 per cent), ILFS
Trans (up 9.63 per cent) and Morepen Labs (up 8.32 per cent) jumped nearly 10 per cent.
Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (up 6.73 per cent),
HBL Power (up 6.61 per cent), Navin Fluorine (up 6.56 per cent), Mahindra CIE Automotive (up 6.43 per cent) and Subros (up 5.63 per cent)
were trading over 5 per cent higher around the same time
The Sensex rallied over 340 points, and Nifty breached the 11,200 mark for the first time today, backed by gains in heavyweights, including
ITC, Infosys and State Bank of India.
Upbeat quarterly earnings, positive Asian cues and firm foreign capital inflows gave a boost to
sentiment.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 83 points up at 11,250, while the BSE Sensex was up 329 points at 37,314 around 11:05 am.
ITC,
Hindalco Industries, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel and Hero MotoCorp were leading the pack of Nifty gainers.
