KOZHIKODE: An order issued by Kasaragod district collector Inbasekar K on Tuesday, making Sunday (November 19) a working day for all
government employees in the district and directing them to attend the Nava Kerala Sadas, has triggered a row, with the BJP and some
opposition employee organisations coming out against it.The Sadas, an outreach programme of the LDF government that would see the CM and his
cabinet colleagues touring all 140 assembly constituencies, will begin from Manjeshwar in Kasaragod on November 18 and cover the other
assembly constituencies in the district on November 19.The collector informed on Wednesday that the order would not affect essential
services.BJP state secretary K Shreekanth said the order cancelling the holiday of government employees and asking them to compulsarily
attend the programme was issued out of fear that it would be a flop otherwise as there is strong resentment among people against the
