Cold claims the lives of two quake-affected persons in Jajarkot

Jajarkot on November 3, causing significant loss of life and property.Both victims, suffering from asthma, fell prey to the increasing cold,
according to Barekot Rural Municipality's Chairperson, Bir Bahadur Giri
He mentioned that over 34,000 families in Jajarkot are currently living in tents due to complete house destruction caused by the
earthquake. Among the affected, children, new mothers, chronic disease patients, and the elderly are particularly
vulnerable to the harsh conditions.Chief District Officer of Jajarkot, Suresh Sunar, reported that children and elderly individuals are
experiencing respiratory problems
He added that two chronic disease patients also recently lost their lives to the cold in Nalgad-4.Initiatives are underway to make necessary
arrangements for the well-being of children, new mothers, chronic patients, and the elderly.
