AHMEDABAD: A 27-year-old Bulgarian flight attendant has approached the Gujarat HC complaining that state police are not registering an FIR
accusing the CMD of a local pharmaceutical company of rape and harassment.The woman has also sought directives to secure digital evidence to
establish the police coerced her to compromise earlier in the case
The HC is scheduled to hear the matter on December 4.The woman has said in her plea that she was hired as a flight attendant by the pharma
After a few trips with the CMD, she was tipped to work as his personal assistant, and she assumed the new role in February 2023.She claimed
she was then sexually assaulted and approached the police
When her complaint was not acted upon, she moved a local magisterial court, which rejected her plea citing police reports about the alleged
compromise
affidavit
saying she had settled the dispute.The magisterial court referred to a report from JB Agrawat, inspector of Sola High Court police station,
saying the woman had made multiple complaints against her boss in May but did not turn up to record her statement
Therefore, her complaint was closed
