Varadkar and Gove speak about Northern Ireland's powersharing impasse at British-Irish Council conference

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Levelling-up Secretary Michael Gove said they hoped Northern Ireland's powersharing institutions could be
reconstituted, but acknowledged the ongoing political difficulties as ministers from Ireland, the UK and devolved governments met for a
British-Irish Council meeting
Mr Gove also addressed questions about looting and rioting in Dublin overnight on Thursday, saying it was a "mark of Ireland" that such
unrest was rarer there than in the UK.
