demonstrated on screen at the Constitution Day function after its inauguration showed a dip in the rate of case disposal by the SC this year
compared to the previous year
It showed that as against 42,744 cases last year, the court had disposed of 54,568 cases, achieving a disposal rate of 127%.Last year, SC
This year, the filing of cases increased to 48,255, of which 47,446 have been disposed, representing disposal rate of 98%.
