Though the number of companies visiting across IITs are not the same as last year, the drop in numbers is negligible, say students, who are
hoping for a good placement season.At IIT-B, the crore-plus offers will be coming from Da Vinci Derivatives, Hudson River Trading, Glean
Technologies, Barclays, among others, said a final-year student.While Da Vinci Derivatives is said to be making an offer of Rs 1.3 crore for
a domestic profile, Hudson River Trading is offering a profile for 200,000 Singapore Dollars (equivalent to Rs 1.24 crore) and Glean will be
offering an international role for a package of $1,25,000
The details of the packages are based on the job application forms, and the firms may or may not select students from the campus
The selection will be based on placement interviews that begin on December 1.Jane Street Capital, a trading firm headquartered in New York
City, which offered the highest-ever package of Rs 3.7 crore at some of the IITs last year, is said to have made a pre-placement offer at
a role in Hong Kong, with a package of 11 lakh Hongkong dollars
The JAF for Edge Focus mentions that it is a remote role
Graviton Research Capital, Quadeye, NK Securities, too, will be making coveted offers for domestic roles
Profiles being offered at these major firms are of traders, quant researchers or developers

The highest domestic salary stood at Rs 1.7 crore, and the highest international offer was Rs 3.7 crore
The placement report said that 16 crore-plus offers and 65 international offers were accepted last year
