A section of the Norton Bridge - Maskeliya main road has collapsed near the Kiriwan Eliya Pathana area this morning (04), the police
said.The road collapse has occurred at around 10.30 a.m
today, owing to the heavy downpours prevailing in the area, the police revealed.Accordingly, the Norton Bridge Police urge the motorists
drive with caution since there is a risk of earth slips and road collapses at several other places along the road.
