INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has taken measures for the transfer 54 magistrates and districts judges under the annual transfer
procedure.The transfers will be in effect from January 01, 2024, according to the commission.Accordingly, the Districts Judges of Kaduwela,
Pugoda, Monaragala, Marawila, Kalutara, Matale, Elpitiya, Puttalam, Kilinochchi and Anuradhapura have been repositioned under the annual
transfer procedure.Meanwhile the Magistrates of Homagama, Negombo, Bandarawela, Nuwara Eliya, Batticaloa, Kegalle, Elpitiya, Balapitiya,
Medawachchiya, Nochchiyagama, Naula, Anamaduwa, Agunakolapelessa and Kahatagasdigiliya have also received transfers, according to the
Judicial Service Commission.
