The special police operations that commenced this morning (17) across the island have resulted in the arrest of 83 suspects thus far,
Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles said.The Minister stated that this includes 45 suspects who had been wanted in connection with
narcotics-related offences.Sri Lanka Police commenced a special operation from today in order to eradicate drugs trafficking and the
underworld in the country.
